In 2004, before LinkedIn or Facebook, I founded one of the first social networks. Adholes was an irreverent community for top advertising executives to share original content, and network with each other. I extended the brand to twenty local chapters worldwide which included job boards and live events.
Shortly after the site was launched, it was featured in the Wall Street Journal as the new way that time pressed executives were connecting with each other. In 2007, it was honored by the Webby Awards in the social networking category. Following that, Adholes made the top twenty of Ad Age's Power 150 Blogs.
